I’m a complete dog training geek, spending all my free time learning new techniques and practices to help me to help you. I have worked with a variety of trainers and behaviourists over the years, honing my skills so I can offer a unique and broad range of services. Working at several training centres, vets and dog related charities, I have a wide range of experience of dog handling and training. I have worked with everything from new puppies to golden oldies and rescues. I can teach your dog obedience such as not jumping up, not stealing, coming back when called or barking and I can also help with dog aggression, separation anxiety and fear-based issues. I pride myself on improving the lives of the people and dogs that I work with. I want you to enjoy your dog again. I love seeing owners and dogs reconnect and bond in a way they never have before. I am a big believer that all training should be fun and exciting for both dog and handler so I work hard to incorporate this into all of my sessions. If your dog isn't having fun, they aren't going to want to train!

I believe that we never truly stop learning and I take any opportunity to study further. I am fully insured with Protectivity, licensed and inspected by Newport County Council and I am both canine and human first aid trained to ensure you and your dogs are completely safe.

Jemma the Working Cocker

Jemma 12/03/2006 - 08/12/2019

Jemma was my Working Cocker Spaniel and my main inspiration for getting passionate about dog behaviour. We began obedience training when she was 10 years old and she turned into a different dog almost overnight. Her energy and excitement doubled and she bonded with me in a way she never had before. She motivated me to get up in the morning and keep learning. In her old age, she went deaf and developed cataracts so we had to adapt all of our training. She took to it so well and always amazed me at every turn.

Molly 12/01/2020

Molly is my new Working Golden Retriever puppy. She has completely taken over our lives and our hearts in a very short space of time. She loves training and learning new things, but also is very cuddly and will climb in to my lap in the evening for some love. I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know her and practicing what I preach. I am excited to try lots of new things together such as scent detection and agility.
